Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms apply when you order thumbnails from Dream Studios through our Discord bot. By sending a request, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't place an order.
1. How ordering works
- We add our private bot to your Discord server. You confirm with a one-time code, and it creates your ordering channels.
- You send a request with one form: title, idea, category and deadline. You see the price before you send it.
- Our artists design the thumbnail and a manager checks it before it reaches you.
- You approve it or ask for changes in Discord.
- Once you approve it, we post a secure Stripe payment link in your #payments channel.
An order is accepted when our bot confirms it in your channel. We may decline a request, for example if it is unlawful, hateful, misleading, or breaks YouTube's policies.
2. Prices and payment
- The price of each request is shown before you send it. Deadlines of 12h, 24h and 48h cost the same; Urgent adds a fee, also shown before you send.
- You pay nothing upfront. You pay after you approve the finished thumbnail, through the Stripe link in #payments.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card details.
- A payment counts as done only when it shows up under Payment history in your #payments channel. Some payment methods take a few days to clear.
- Please pay within 7 days of approving a thumbnail. We may pause new orders while a payment is overdue.
3. Deadlines
The deadline starts when your order is accepted. If we miss it, we'll tell you in Discord, and you can cancel that order without paying anything.
4. Changes and revisions
Before you approve a thumbnail, you can ask for changes within the original brief. A new idea or a completely different concept counts as a new request, with its own price.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel any order before you approve it, at no cost.
- Each thumbnail is made to your own specification, and you pay only after reviewing and approving the finished work. Once you approve and pay, the service is fully performed at your request, so the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Decree-Law 24/2014) no longer applies.
- If you are charged twice or charged by mistake, contact us and we will refund the difference.
- This does not limit any right you have by law, including when a thumbnail doesn't match what we agreed.
6. Your material
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us (footage, photos, logos, characters, fonts), and that using it in your thumbnail doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You are responsible for how the thumbnail is used on your channel.
7. Who owns the thumbnail
- Once you've paid for a thumbnail in full, you can use it for your videos and to promote your channel, anywhere, for as long as you want. We won't sell or reuse that design for anyone else.
- Until it is paid, the thumbnail remains ours and you may not publish it.
- Once your video is public, we may show the thumbnail in our portfolio. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we'll remove it.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your unreleased ideas, titles and files private, and we use them only to make your thumbnails. The identity of the artist who designed each thumbnail stays within Dream Studios.
9. Results
Thumbnails help your videos get clicked, but we can't guarantee views, click-through rates or revenue, because they depend on many things outside our control.
10. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. This does not apply where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for intent or gross negligence, or for your rights as a consumer.
11. Discord
Our service runs on Discord and depends on it being available. You can remove our bot from your server at any time. Orders already approved still need to be paid.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Orders already placed follow the terms that applied when you placed them.
13. Law, complaints and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
If something goes wrong, contact us first at [email protected] and we'll try to fix it.
Consumers can take a dispute to an alternative dispute resolution entity, such as the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (cniacc.pt). The list of all such entities in Portugal is on the Portal do Consumidor (consumidor.gov.pt).
